Sandra was born at Great Bend on Nov. 11, 1982, the daughter of Gene Klingensmith and Marylin Albin Klingensmith Hudson. She graduated from Chanute High School and attended Emporia State University.
Sandra loved music, singing and couponing. She was an active board member of the SKIL Resource Center, advocating for people with disabilities.
Sandra is survived by her father, Gene Klingensmith and his wife, Kate, Emporia; her mother, Marylin Hudson and her husband, Daniel, Yates Center; significant other, Nick Bright, Independence; sister, Elaine Legitt and her husband, John, Humboldt; brother, Daniel Klingensmith and his wife, Teraricka, Emporia; nieces, Austeen and Tatianna Legitt and nephew, Williem Klingensmith.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 27 at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Burial will follow in Thornburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel.
Memorials in her name may be made to the MS Society or SKIL Resource Center and may be left with the funeral home.

I went to school with Sandra. She was a sweetheart to everybody she knew and your face lit up when she was around. I'm going to truely miss her. My condolences go to you all. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time!!
