Evelyn Louise Ranabargar, 62, Chanute, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.

Lou was born in Niotaze, Kan., on March 10, 1949, the daughter of Benton F. and Dorothy G. Moffitt Flesher. She graduated from Caney High School and later received her license as a Medical Technologist.

She was united in marriage to Rick Ranabargar on Sept. 19, 1969. He survives, of the home.

She worked as a medical technologist for 30 years, and later worked at Tioga Territory.

Along with her husband, Rick, she is survived by her mother, Dorothy Flesher, Niotaze; and two sisters, Betty Melican and Sue Stultz, both of Caney.

She was preceded in death by her father, Benton F. Flesher, and a brother, Benton “Sonny” Flesher.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 at the Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute.

Memorials in her name may be made to Castaways Animal Shelter and may be left with the funeral home.
