Samuel Joseph Curry, 54, Chanute, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 at his residence.
Samuel was born in Springfield, Mo., on Feb. 21, 1957, the son of Samuel Joseph and Mary Alvita Busby Curry. He graduated from Altoona-Midway High School in 1975.
Samuel is survived by his sister, Tina Bullock, Texas City, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorials in his name may be made to his family and may be left with the funeral home.
