Victoria A. Quintana, 85, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at Via-Christi St. Joseph Hospital, Wichita.
She was born Dec. 23, 1922, in Chanute to Nicholas and Lenore Villiesenor Alonzo.
Survivors include two sons, Rubén and Ed; a daughter, Estela; a sister, Margaret De La Torre; five grandchildren, Josué, Jason, Monique and Olivia Quintana and Sean Stewart, all of Wichita.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan; her parents; six sisters and four brothers, Mary Gobea, Refugio (Mary Cuca) Marquez, Juanita Cabrera, Domatila Gonzales, Belen Savedra, Grace Alonzo, Refugio Alonzo, Anthony Alonzo, Rapheal Alonzo, and John Alonzo.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Chanute, led by Father Robert Spencer, celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel.
Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
Contributions to St. Patrick’s School Building Fund may be left with the funeral home.
