Duane Moore, 53, died Monday, August 4, 2008, at his home after a long battle with cancer.

He was born June 21, 1955, in Chanute to Wes and Wilma Aliene Thompson Moore. He graduated from Chanute High School in 1973.

He married Nancy Jo Finley on Sept. 18, 1975, in Chanute. She survives.

He was employed with Baker Tool and Arrow Pump & Supply, Seminole, Okla.

Other survivors include two sons, Luke and Josh Moore, both of Norman, Okla.; three grandchildren; a brother, “Slim” Moore, Chanute; two sisters, Debi Donnenworth, Oletha, and Carol White, Wyle, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the family home, 36238 EW 1210, Wewoka, OK 74884. Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole, Okla.
