Patrick Dean Jordan, 52, LaCygne, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at Olathe Medical Center. He was born March 17, 1959 in Topeka, the son of Louis Glenn and Ella Louise Jordan.

On Aug-ust 5, 1988, he married Paula Folden. They were divorced in 2006.

Survivors include two children, Joshua Jordan, Osawatomie, and Rebekah Shafer, Parker; a grandson; five brothers, Jeff Jordan, Kansas City, Mo., Randy Jordan, Osawatomie, Mike Jordan, Chanute, Galen Jordan, Miami, Okla., and Duane Jordan, Spring Hill; three sisters, LInda Flinner, Scranton, Sherry Troxel, Osawatomie, and Jennifer Reaves, Chanute.

He attended Chanute schools and graduated from Pittsburg State University Auto Mechanic Program in 1989. He worked as an auto technician before retiring due to his health in 2000.

Family and friends will gather 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 for luncheon and fellowship at Zion Lutheran Church, Chanute. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. at the church.

Burial will be in Odense Cemetery near Erie.

A memorial has been established in his name and memorial gifts may be left with Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS 66720.
