William P. “Bill” Hutchison, 59, Arkansas City, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at the South Central Kansas Medical Center in Arkansas City. Funeral services have been scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27 at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Friends may greet the family 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Bill was born March 23, 1952, to Frank W. And Carol L. Campbell Hutchison in Bartlesville, Okla. Bill graduated from Ark City High School in 1970. After high school Bill attended Ark City Junior College.

Bill worked as house supervisor for Cowley County Developmental Services and also worked as a security supervisor for Sentinal Security.

He is survived by his sons, Daniel Hutchison and wife, Taran, Lewis Hutchison and wife, Michelle, all of Wichita; mother, Carol Hutchison, Arkansas City; brothers, Allen Hutchison, of Colorado, Michael Hutchison, Mark Hutchison and wife, Tammy, all of Arkansas City; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank.
