Neva A. Riley Smith Odell, 90, Devine, Texas, died on Feb. 14, 2012.
She was born August 11, 1921 in Coffeyville and grew up in Humboldt, graduating from Humboldt High School in 1939 and Pittsburg State College.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Smith and Marvin Odell, her daughter Cyndie Mayer and a grandson.
Survivors include her children, Randy Smith, Sandy Merrill, Wendy North and Lindsie Hagdorn; and a sister, Jean Bicknell, Chanute.
She was an elementary teacher and principal at Concordia Lutheran School and member of Concordia Lutheran Church.
After retirement, she and Marvin moved to Devine where they were founding members of Devine Savior Lutheran Church.
