Rick E. Gildart, 50, Neodesha, died Friday, March 2, 2012 at Wilson County Medical Center in Neodesha.  Memorial services will be Thursday, March 8 at the Neodesha United Methodist Church with the Reverend Kenny Richards officiating. Inurnment will follow the memorial service in Neodesha Cemetery. Friends may call the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel today from noon until 8 p.m. to register and the family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to AWOL (Animals With Our Love) and may be left at the funeral home.

Rick was born in Neodesha on May 6, 1961 to Roy and Laura Ellen Erickson Gildart. Rick attended and graduated from Neodesha Schools and was employed 21 years by Cobalt Boats at his time of passing. He was also a member of the Neodesha Masonic Lodge.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Tammy Burns, Parsons;  stepdaughter Whitney Burns, Kansas City, Kan.; stepson Russell Brown, Fredonia; sister Jackie and husband, Bill Lowry, Neodesha; brother Randy Gildart and wife, Molly, Neodesha; nieces Stefanie and husband Tony Zuzzio, Olathe, Heather Gildart, Neodesha, Ashley Jabben, Denver, Colo., Baylie Jabben, Kansas City, Kan.; nephew Andrew Jabben, Ft.
