Roland Boote died Thursday, January 22, 2009, at Delmar Gardens Nursing Home, Overland Park.

He and his wife, Helen, moved to Chanute in 1973 and owned Boote Business Machines. They retired to Overland Park in 1995.

Survivors include his children, David Boote and Diane Johnson, Overland Park; two grandchildren, and a great-grandson.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Overland Park. Arrangements are under the direction of D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel of Overland Park.

Helem Tom & I were sorry to hear about Roland's death we have thought about you folks a lot through the years. We were glad to get to know you folks Take care & we will be remembering you & your family in our prayers.
