Lois Jean Lindquist, 65, Chanute, died Sunday, January 25, 2009, at Indian Meadows Nursing Home, Overland Park.

She was born Oct. 28, 1943, in Chanute to Ralph Earl and Dora Mavis Dozier Tomlinson. She graduated from Chanute High School and attended Business School in Topeka.

She was a homemaker until her health failed.

Survivors include two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ann and Vernon Myers, Carthage, Mo., and Carol Swenson, Olathe; and a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Sharon Tomlinson, Wichita.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel. Burial will follow in Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery on West 21st Street.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Memorials in her name may be made to the MS Society and may be left with the funeral home.
