Francis “Frank” Chance, 81, Benedict, died Sunday, January 25, 2009, in Chanute.
He was born Sept. 21, 1927, in Boise, Idaho.
He was a World War II veteran and a retired stone mason.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Chance, Mobile, Ala., and Francine Chance, La Cyne; a son, Danny Chance, Benedict; a sister, Lucille Brouhard, Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Kenneth Chance, Lathrop, Mo.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. today at Weakley Cemetery near New Albany under the direction of Timmons Funeral Home, Fredonia.
