Sheila Rochelle Mann, 57, Humboldt, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

Sheila was born in Colony on Sept. 16, 1954, the daughter of Bill and Lois Shepard Ellis. She graduated from Colony Crest High School in 1972.

She was united in marriage to Michael “Mike” Eldon Mann on Jan. 19, 1975 in Colony. He survives, of the home.

Sheila was a bus driver for the ANW Cooperative School.

She was a member of First Christian Church in Humboldt and the FCE.

Sheila enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, playing bingo, and watching her nieces and nephews play sports.

Along with her husband, Mike, she is survived by two sons, Eric Mann and his wife, Christy, Emporia, and Aaron Mann, Humboldt; granddaughters, Hayden and Jenasis Mann, Emporia; brothers, Guy Ellis and his wife, Linda, Ottawa, Jack Ellis and his wife, Marylyn, Humboldt, Rex Ellis and his wife, Loretta, Iola, Ron Ellis and his wife, Debbie, LeRoy, Rick Ellis and Randy Ellis, both of Colony; two sisters, Patsey Baker and her husband, Doyle, Olathe, and Lesa Sherwood and her husband, David, LeRoy; and 27 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Ellis.

Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 23 at the First Christian Church in Iola. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Humboldt.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Humboldt Chapel, Humboldt.

Memorials in her name may be made to First Christian Church in Humboldt or the Humboldt Recreation Summer Ball Program and may be left with the funeral home.
