Elizabeth Armour McMillen, 94, Humboldt, died Friday, August 15, 2008, at Pinecrest Nursing Home, Humboldt.

She was born July 20, 1914, in rural Parsons to Homer Otis and Edith Magner Armour. She graduated from Parsons High School. She moved to Chanute in 1938.

She married Gale McMillen on Dec. 7, 1941. He died Jan. 27, 1990.

The McMillens farmed and were cattle ranchers all of their lives. Survivors include Wilbur and Mary McMillen, Betty McMillen, Joe and Doris McMillen, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, LaFaye; and a sister, Verena.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Chanute. Burial will follow in Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery on 21st Street under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Contributions to First Baptist Church may be left with the funeral home.
