Linda Kay Hardin, 63, Chanute, died Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Chanute Health Care in Chanute.

Linda was born in St. Paul on July 12, 1948, the daughter of Floyd Leonard and Frances Maude Roberts Hayes. She married Bernard Hardin on Jan, 11, 1969 in Chanute.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Chanute.

Linda is survived by her husband, Bernard Hardin, Chanute; two daughters, Cindy King and husband, Tom, Chanute, and Shelly Miller, Gas City; four grandchildren, Hunter King, Chanute, Jessica Frame, Tulsa, Okla., Jocelyn Miller, Iola, and Joshua Miller, Iola; and one sister, Phyllis Joan Cowan, Neodesha.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nine sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 3 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Humboldt. Inurnment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Humboldt.

Rosary will recited at 7 p.m. this evening at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Humboldt.

Memorials in her name may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or The American Diabetes Association and may be left with the funeral home.
