Charles Ray Penrow, 67, a longtime resident of Fredonia, died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Fredonia Regional Hospital. He was born Feb, 20, 1945 in Hattiesburg, Miss., the son of Charles and Elsie Perry Penrow.

On August 2, 1975 Charles married Yvonne Louise Swisher in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives, at their home.

Charles retired in 1995 after 30 plus years of being a carpenter. Charles moved from Albuquerque, N.M., to Fredonia in 1997.

Charles’ survivors include his spouse, Yvonne Penrow, Fredonia; a son, Zane Swisher, Albuquerque, N.M.; a half-brother, Everett McDonald of California; and three grandchildren.
