Rex L. Milner, 60, Chanute, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at St. Francis Via Christi Heart Hospital.

He was born July 6, 1951 the son of Melvin Milner and Ila Stipp. He was a graduate of the Chanute High School Class of 1969.

He married Donna Lee and was later divorced and married Diane Martin and was later divorced.

Survivors include his caregiver, Mean Peavey; a son, Brian; one grandchild; brothers and sisters, James “Jim” Milner, Diane Owen and Carolyn J. Smith, all of Chanute.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Ladonna Milner and brother Myron Gallison.

Graveside service is planned at a later date.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 17 at New Life United Brethren in Christ Church, 500 N. Forest. Donations may be left at the visitation.
