Randall F. Wickizer, 55, of Bartlesville, Okla., formerly of Chanute, died Friday, May 18, 2012 in Barltesville.
Randy was born in Neodesha on August 21, 1956, the son of Edgar Francis and Elsie Lorene Dannels Wickizer. He graduated from Altoona-Midway High School and later from Pittsburg State University.
He was united in marriage to Linda Jean Hammans on May 16, 1982 in Chanute. She survives, in Bartlesville.
Randy started working as an accountant for Conoco Phillips Petroleum Company on June 1, 1982 in Bartlesville.
He was active in the Thayer Seventh Day Adventist Church, and was a member of the Petroleum Accountant Society of Oklahoma and PMTA in Tulsa, Okla. He enjoyed woodworking.
Along with his wife, he is survived by a sister Darlene Sloan and her husband, Harvey, Chanute; a brother, Phil Wickizer and his wife, Echo, Shawnee; mother and father-in-law, Arden and Phyllis Hammans, Erie; brother-in-law Leo Hammans and his wife, Charlene, Erie; two sisters-in-law, Laura Lunceford, Greenwood, Mo.,and LaDonna Sturgeon, Erie; a grandmother-in-law, Ethel Markham, Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. today, May 22 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 909 W. 14th St., Chanute. Burial will follow in the Altoona Cemetery.
The family received friends on Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel in Chanute.
Memorials in his name may be made to the Thayer Seventh Day Adventist Church and may be left with the funeral home.
