Clayton Delroy “Del” Totman, 76, Chanute, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2009 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

Del was born in Arcadia on April 1, 1932, the son of William and Mary Nasworthy Totman.

He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

Del was united in marriage to Darlean G. Shults on May 21, 1991 in Chanute. She survives.

He was a machinist for Churchill.

Del is survived by his wife, Darlean, of Chanute; two daughters, Kelli Hanson, Payson, Utah, and Kimberly Williams, Burlington, Iowa; one special son-in-law, “Motor” Guy Williams; two sons, Dennis Totman, Arcadia, and Jeff Totman, Osage; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and five sisters.

Cremation has taken place.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Memorials in his name may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society and may be left with the funeral home.

Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
