Virgil A. Green, 90, Neosho Falls, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009 at Yates Center. He was born March 3, 1918 in Norton County, to Albert and Nora Wheeler Green.

He grew up in Norton County then moved to Wichita where he worked for Boeing. He retired from TWA in Tracy, Mo., and moved to Neosho Falls.

He married Faye Benjamin in 1938. She preceded him in death August 15, 1996.

Survivors include two sons, Virgil L. Green, Neosho Falls, Jesse A. Green, Neosho Falls; three daughters, Loretta Lear, Moline, Lella Robker, Neosho Falls, Tammy Green Peck, Neosho Falls; a brother, Bennie Green, Mustang, Okla.; 119 grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14 at Campbell Funeral Home, Yates Center. Interment at 2:30 p.m. in Clearwater Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas Heart Association or donor’s choice and left at the funeral home, P.O. Box 188, Yates Center, KS 66783.
