Alma Schultz, 95, San Jose, Calif., formerly of Chanute, died Sunday, February 1, 2009, at her home.
She was born May 19, 1913, to David and Nettie Wedel Schmidt in Helena, Okla.
She married Herman J. Schultz in Garden City on Aug. 1, 1931. He preceded her in death.
She held several jobs, eventually working in Food Preparation at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Survivors include five children, Harold Schultz, Amarillo, Texas, Marlene Tharp, San Jose, Calif., Wilma Brock, Humboldt, Bob Schultz, Auburn, Calif., and La Donna Ward, Durango, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her eight brothers and sisters and two great grandchildren.
