Lula Mae Ridge, 81, Warrensburg, Mo., died Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Country Club Care Center.
She was born Nov. 2, 1930 in the Robbins Community area in Johnson County, Mo., the daughter of Albert Leroy and Cora Frances Carl Clifton.
On Nov. 6, 1947 she was united in marriage to Henry Franklin Ridge in Johnson County, Mo. He preceded her in death Jan. 23, 2005.
She was a founding member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Warrensburg. She worked at Town and Country Shoe Factory for 30 years, retiring in 1988.
Survivors include three daughters, Carol Ann Clark, Chanute, Virginia Lee Richey and Linda Kay Ridge, both of Warrensburg; two sisters, Anna Parsons, Warrensburg, and Ruth Moore, Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter Helen Faye Clary.
Funeral was July 31 at Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg. Burial was in Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association and may be left with the funeral home.
