Colleen Ann Sergent, 79, Arcadia, Fla., formerly of Chanute, died Saturday, February 14, 2009, in Port Charlotte.

She was born April 4, 1929, in Findlay, Ohio.

She was a homemaker and assisted her husband in his business.

Survivors include her husband, Edward W. Sergent; two daughters, Barbara Winkler, Port Charlotte, Fla., and Carolyn Scott, Naples, Fla.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Newton Jr., Ashland, Ohio; and a sister, Edna Mae Swartz, Georgetown, Fla.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Jerger; and a son, Mark, at age 9.
