Victoria LaVera “Vickie” Springer Trembly, 57, Thayer, Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

She was born Aug. 17, 1951, in Erie to Eldon Ray and Alice Marie Falkerson Springer. She graduated from Thayer High School in 1969.

She married Patrick R. Trembly. He survives.

She was employed as a Laboratory Technician at Ash Grove Cement Company for 30 years until her retirement in 2007.

Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Francis and Jill Anderson, Salina, and Brian and Deona Anderson, Chanute; a daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Casey Hanner, Chanute; a step-daughter and her husband, Brenda and Hobie Block, Chanute; 10 grandchildren, Zach, Ashlynn, Kyle, Kole, Braden, Deakin, Dylon, Gannon, Denae and Chris; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Donna and Frank Graham, Wichita, and Cindy Johnson, Chanute; a brother, Earnie Springer, Wichita; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Springer.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
