Helen Virginia Fink Hedrick, 98, a longtime resident of Fredonia, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Fredonia. She was born August 23, 1914 in Lafontaine, the daughter of Alonzo and Mina Bobbitt Fink.

Helen was a graduate of Lafontaine High School and Fredonia Business School.

On April 5, 1936, in Lafontaine, she was united in marriage to Hurston Hedrick. He preceded her in death Sept. 20, 1995.

Helen was an active member of the First United Methodist Church.

Helen is survived by a daughter, Janet Paulsen of Goodland; a son, Terry Hedrick of Palm Coast, Fla.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery.
