Conard Eugene “Bud” Riley, 81, a lifelong resident of Fredonia, died on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Fredonia Regional Hospital. He was born Dec. 23, 1930 in Fredonia, the son of Earl E. and¬† Beulah Lincoln Riley. Bud was a graduate of Fredonia High School and served in the United States Army. He was employed by General Portland Cement/Lafarge Corporation for 42 years.¬†

On Oct. 25, 1973 in Chanute, Bud was united in marriage to Jovannah Sue Morgan Kraft. She survives, at their home in Fredonia.

Also surviving are sons, Michael Kraft of Fredonia, David Eugene Kraft of Severy; daughters, Diannah Marie Kelley of Chanute, Deborah Kaye Sommer of Altoona; a sister, Virginia Wheaton of Fredonia; a brother, Richard Riley of Bartlesville, Okla.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren
