Terry A. Farmer, 55, Chanute, died Friday, March 13, 2009 in Chanute.
Terry was born in St. Ignatius, Mont., on July 13, 1953, the son of Lee Virgil and Pearl Edna Boyd Farmer.
He served his country in the United States Army from 1970 until 1972. He earned his GED while in the service.
Terry is survived by a brother, Jerry Farmer, of Chanute; two sisters, Vida Walker, of Midwest City, Okla., and Helen Shrimpton of Lubbock, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Patsy Norton; and two brothers, Arthur Amburn and Billy Amburn.
Cremation has taken place.
A private family service will be held at a later time.
Memorials in his name may be made to the Chanute V.F.W. and may be left with the funeral home at 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS 66720.
