Linda Joan Buttler, 65, of Chanute, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 St. Joseph Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
Linda was born in McLouth on Oct. 29, 1947, the daughter of Boyd and Mary Ann Kirk Bogle. She graduated from Chanute High School in 1965.
She was united in marriage to Mike Buttler on June 27, 1979 in Miami, Okla. He survives, of the home.
Linda worked as a para-professional in the school system.
She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Along with her husband Mike, she is survived by a daughter, Kelli Donaldson and her husband, Devin, of Chanute; two grandsons, Garin Donaldson and Braden Donaldson; a granddaughter, Kylen Donaldson of Chanute; three brothers, Gale Bogle of Talequah, Okla., Don Bogle of Mesa, Ariz., and Marion Bogle of Wellsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Larry, Gary, Dwayne, and Dale.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. this evening at the church followed by visitation until 8 p.m.
Memorials in her name may be made to the St. Patrick Catholic School and may be left with the funeral home.
