ARLINGTON — Pat Brown, 76, peacefully passed away, Friday, August 29, 2008, at an Arlington hospital.

Pat was a native of Chanute, born Feb. 9, 1932, but spent most of her adult life in Arlington. Pat loved to travel, spend time at her lake house, to sew, to dance and to shop for her family. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her.

Pat was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and friend, always available to lend a hand or offer laughter and company to those she loved. She was an accountant by trade but a devoted mother and housewife to her family. She graduated with the class of 1950 at Chanute High School. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends at her lake house on Cedar Creek Lake.

In loving memory of our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Survivors include sons, Carl R. Brown, Randal P. Brown, Russell G. Brown; daughter, Shara B. Bridges and her husband, Charles R. Bridges; brother, Frank C. Davidson and his wife, Barbara; sisters, Peggy J. Whisenant and her husband, Bobby R. Whisenant, Diana L. Carter and her husband, Phil Carter; grandchildren, Ross P. Brown, Jacob R.
