Delores Ann Moody, 74, Fredonia, and longtime resident of Erie, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 in Fredonia. She was born July 26, 1938 in Odense, the daughter of Loren Cecil and Roberta Pearl Mintz Trammell.

In January 1955, Delores married John Ivan Handrich and they were later divorced. On July 1, 1966 in Erie, she was united in marriage to Donald Eugene Moody. Together they owned and operated their family farm for more than 30 years. Donald preceded her in death Feb. 26, 2003.

Her survivors include two daughters, Sandra Marie Mercer of Independence, Donna Boss of Fredonia; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Kathryn Diane Cheney, and granddaughter, Gina Rene Byrd.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Jan. 23 at Timmons Funeral Home.
