Hazel F. Dame, 99, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008 at Yates Center. She was born Nov. 11, 1908 in Pittsburg, the daughter of Morton Oliver and Maude Alice Crawford Simpson.
She grew up in the Nickletown community and was a member of the First Christian Church in Yates Center.
She married Floyd A. Dame Nov. 24, 1933. He preceded her in death August 25, 1999.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Simmers, Yates Center; a brother, Roy Simpson, Wichita; a sister, Ilene Johnson, Wichita; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12 at Campbell Funeral Home. Friends may call 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Askren Cemetery, Woodson County.
