Raymond Alen Johnson, 68, of New Albany, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. He was born Jan, 15, 1945 in Neodesha, the son of Bert LeRoy and Velma May Purdy Johnson. Raymond worked in construction all of his life and had been employed by Zachary Construction and Farmland Industries.

On Feb, 11, 1974, he was united in marriage to Marcia Kay McBride. She survives, of the home.

He is also survived by three children, Michael Johnson of Paola, Tracy Johnson of Bartlesville, Okla., Michelle Treloggen of New Albany; mother-in-law Norma McBride of Fredonia; two brothers and seven grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial graveside service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Weakley Cemetery near New Albany.
