Mildred R. Moore, 84, of Chanute, died Monday, March 4, 2013 at her home.

Mildred was born in David City, Neb., on June 8, 1928.

She was united in marriage to Robert L. Moore on March 7, 1971. He preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1996.

She was a homemaker.

Mildred is survived by her children and stepchildren, Juanita Bruce, Barbara Kelly and Robert Moore, all of Chanute, Katherine Watts of Savonburg, and Sharon Weaver of Galesburg; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, a stepson, William Wesley Moore, and a granddaughter, Sharon Cooper.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 11 at the Elmwood Cemetery in Chanute.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 until 4 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel.
