Bobby R. Craig, 71, Humboldt, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at his home.

Bobby was born in Landersville, Ala. on July 25, 1937, the son of Russell Greer and Dorothy Earleen Bradford Craig. He graduated high school in Moulton, Ala., in the Class of 1956.

He was united in marriage to Mary Shults on May 28, 1977 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Humboldt. She survives.

Bobby worked as a machinist in the oil industry.

Along with his wife Mary, he is survived by a daughter, Kristi Rodriguez, Humboldt; two sons, Russell Craig, Gas City, and James Craig, Pittsburg; six grandchildren, Drew, Zach, Emily, Alexander, Christopher and Anthony; and a sister, Wynell Salmond of Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place.

Family will receive friends from 9 to10 a.m. Friday at the Penwell-Gabel Humboldt Chapel. Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the mortuary. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

Memorials in his name may be made to American Heart Association and may be left with the funeral home.
