Jerome “Jerry” Linn McIntyre, 60, Humboldt, died Friday, April 10, 2009 at his home.

Jerry was born on Dec. 12, 1948 in Iola, the son of Wilford Robert and Julia Helen Norton McIntyre.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He was united in marriage to Christine Headley on July 20, 2002 in Erie. She survives, of the home.

Jerry worked for Whitaker Construction.

Along with his wife, Christine, Jerry is survived by two sons, Chris Headley and Willie Headley, both of Humboldt.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. today, April 15 at the Humboldt Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Memorials in his name may be made to the Cecil J. Meeker Post #1654 V.F. W. of Chanute, and may be left with the funeral home.
