Orval Keith Adams, 65, Midwest City, Okla., died Saturday, October 4, 2008, at Yates Center Healthcare.

He was born July 26, 1943, in Girard to Orum and Bonnie Keighley Adams.

He was employed by Conoco Oil Co. as a convenience store manager until he retired due to health reasons.

Survivors include two sons, Justin Adams, El Dorado, and Kevin Adams, Andover; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken and Sharon Adams, Thayer, Tom and Judi Adams, Lenexa, and Gary and Cathy Adams, Thayer; a half-sister, Maurietta Shock, Yarnell, Ariz.; and a half-brother, Bill Zimmerman, Vicksburg, Mich.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Thayer Christian Church Family Life Center, Dorn Rd. Memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Thayer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel.
