Kenneth L. Dunlap, 61, Colony, died Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at his home.

He was born Aug. 5, 1947, in Garnett to Dee Milton and Marjorie Croan Dunlap. He graduated from Wellsville High School and Wichita Business College.

He served in the Navy.

He married Connie Vanderslice on Jan. 7, 1967, in Wichita. She survives.

He was employed as service manager with Kipper Chevrolet in Pleasanton.

Other survivors include three sons, Ray Dunlap, Chanute, Billy Dunlap, Fairview, and Ken Dunlap Jr., Wichita; a daughter, April Dixon, Chanute; five grandchildren; his father, Dee Dunlap, Leon; and a sister, Donna Perkins, Colorado Springs, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie, and two granddaughters.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Colony Cemetery under the direction of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
