Margie Maxine Dutro, 85, Humboldt, died Monday, July 20, 2009, at Pinecrest Nursing Home, Humboldt.
She was born July 13, 1924, in Buffalo to Owen and Gladys McAdams Claibourn. She graduated from high school and received her nursing credentials.
She married Roy Dutro on July 28, 1938, in Fort Scott. He died on May 3, 1977.
She worked as a LPN at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a son, Roger Dutro, Chanute; two daughters, Connie Curlin, Chanute, and Debbie Ray, Borger, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Judy Girard and Linda Kay Dutro; a son, Michael Lynn Dutro; a granddaughter, Sherry Glasgow; a sister, Beatrice Buell; and a nephew, Kent Buell.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Healing Center Church of God on 35th Street in Chanute. Burial will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
