Virginia Lee Smith, 75, died Friday, October 31, 2008, in Tulsa, Okla.. She was born August 26, 1933 in Milo, Mo., to Edmund and Ora Belle Byram Reaves.

She attended Humboldt schools, graduating in 1951. On Sept. 6, 1953 she married Robert “Bob” L. Smith in Humboldt. He survives, of the home.

Also surviving are three children, Victor A. Smith, of Richardson, Texas, Rhonda L. Kennedy, Ringwood, N.J., and Juli A. McCurry, Stigler, Okla.; four sisters, JoAnn Storck, Derby, Verna Rives, Dorothy Setter, Janet Reaves, Humboldt.; five brothers, Edmund Reaves Jr., Blanchard, Idaho, Charles Reaves, Chanute, Leon Reaves, Pearland, Texas, Eugene Reaves and Larry Reaves, Humboldt; eight grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 5 at Will Rogers United Methodist Church, Tulsa, Okla. Memorial contributions may be made to Will Rogers United Methodist Church or Humboldt Public Library. Moore’s Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51, Tulsa, OK 74145 is in charge of arrangements.
