Robert Ray Bockover 75, Chanute, died Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 8, 1934, in Vilas to Warren and Virgie Cloud Bockover.

He married Deloris Seller on Jan. 27, 1955. She survives.

He was self-employed, owning Bock’s Bait and Tackle.

Other survivors include three children and their spouses, Jimmy and Vicki Bockover and Michael and Verna Bockover, all of Chanute, and Vicki and David Morris, Buffalo; six grandchildren, Neva Bockover, Diane and Barry Cook and Austin Sicka, all of Buffalo, Deanna Tarter, Chanute, Shane Sicka, Yates Center, and Anna Bockover, Thayer; six great-grandchildren, Skyler Morgan, Charlie K. Cody Tarter, Andrew Hougardy, Karissa Cook and Natalie Tarter; six sisters, Ellen Logan and Margie Adams, both of Chanute, Sandy Bockover and Rosemary Lechner, both of Iola, Ima Jean Brunell, Washington, Utah, and Anita Hannah, Corvallis, Ore.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, Chanute. Burial will follow in Farm Ridge Cemetery, Sycamore.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
