Pauline Page, 94, longtime rural Erie resident, died Thursday, October, 28, 2009, at Prairie Mission Retirement Village where she had resided since 2006.

She was born March 29, 1915, in rural Erie to Nels and Dessie Clemans Olson. She graduated from Erie High School.

For several years she taught in the rural schools.

On Nov. 4, 1935, she married Russell Page at Independence. He died on Oct. 31, 2006.

The Pages farmed for many years and were members of the former Kimball United Brethren Church.

Survivors include a brother, Carl Olson, rural Erie; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Max and Janie Page and Marion and Sharon Page, all of rural Erie; and two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Mavis and John Gard, Erie, and Marlene and Bud Marnell, Tampa, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Brice and Virgil Olson; and four sisters, Bertha Libby, Myrtle Bass, Elsie Carlson and Iva Bohlander.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Prairie Mission Retirement Village in St. Paul. Burial will be in the Odense Cemetery under the direction of Pierce-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, Erie.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Contributions to the Prairie Mission Activity Fund may be made in care of the funeral home.
