Kenneth Marion Ingels, 95, Savonburg, died unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 30, 2009 at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center, Chanute.
Kenneth was born in Savonburg on July 26, 1914, the son of Harry Porter and Grace Wing McCollough Ingels. He graduated from Savonburg High School.
He was united in marriage to Nina Ruth Breiner on Dec. 31, 1938. She survives.
Kenneth was co-owner of the Wagon Wheel Agency in Chanute.
He was a lifelong member of the Leanna Christian Church.
Along with his wife Nina, Kenneth is survived by a son, Mark Ingels and his wife, Susan, Savonburg; two daughters, Pamela Fewins and her husband, David, Humboldt, and Janis Stockebrand and her husband, H.H., Savonburg; three grandsons, Cleat Stockebrand and his wife, Alece, Humboldt, James Fewins and his wife, Elizabeth, Sparks, Nev., and Phillip Fewins and his wife, Jessie, Oronogo, Mo; two granddaughters, Becky Colding, Chanute, and Angela Stanley and her husband, Dustin, Chanute; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Dean Ingels, Amarillo, Texas, and John Lee Ingels, Bella Vista, Ark.; and three sisters, Helen Redman, Wichita, Hazel Blair, Chanute, and Mary Alice Smith, Doniphan, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Phillip Keith Ingels, and a brother, Harry W. Ingels.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Leanna Cemetery.
Memorials in his name may be made to the Hidden Haven Church Camp and may be left with the funeral home.
