Kellie Jo Sander, 24, Moran, Kansas, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009.

Kellie was born on Nov. 12, 1985, at Chanute, the daughter of Paul and Kathryn Bolte Sander.

As a young girl she enjoyed horse back riding and barrel racing at local rodeos. Kellie graduated from Marmaton Valley High School in 2004. While in high school she enjoyed playing volleyball and basketball.

She was currently working as a cook in the deli at Pump-N-Pete’s in Moran. She attended the Friends Home Lutheran Church in Savonburg.

Kellie is survived by her two daughters, Kiersten Sander and Kylah Sander, of the home; her parents, Paul and Kathryn Sander; two brothers, Nick Sander and Kevin Sander, Moran; her grandparents, Marvin and Henryetta Sander, Elsmore; grandmother Karen Bolte, Mauston, Wis.; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Dillon, Toby, Brock and Emma.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, at the Friends Home Lutheran Church in Savonburg. Burial will follow at the Elsmore Cemetery in Elsmore. Family will be present to greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel in Moran.
