Asya Lambertina Nicole Marie Frazier, 6, Chanute, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at her home.

She was born March 22, 2003, in Chanute to Doug Frazier and Carla Cohee Frazier.

She was a first grade student at the Chanute Christian Academy, and was considered a peacemaker around all who loved her.

Asya is survived by her parents, Doug Frazier and Carla Frazier; a sister, Chelise Tomlinson, Iola; grandparents, Shirley Horn, Tony and Debbie Rodriguez, Franklin Cohee and Dorothy Williams; great-grandmother, Florence Carter; and many other family members.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21 at the Living Word Assembly in Chanute. Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel in Chanute.

Contributions to the Chanute Christian Academy for the Asya Frazier Special Needs Scholarship Fund may be left with the funeral home.
