Donald Lee Schulenberg, 79, Whitesboro, Texas, died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at his home where he had resided for 21 years.
He was born Nov. 6, 1930, in Erie, to Leonard and Ruth Schulenberg.
On May 22, 1950, he married Arlene McKarnin of Iola in Eureka Springs, Ark.
He served in the U.S. Army in late 1940s. He went to work for IBM in San Jose, Calif., in 1956 and retired in Austin, Texas, in 1988 after 32 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Whitesboro; three sons, Ronnie, San Marcos, Texas, Terry, Blanchard, Okla., and Rick, Whitesboro; six grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy White, Modesto, Calif.; and eight great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held in Iola in the spring.
