Kenneth E. Shultz, 85, Chanute, died Monday, January 11, 2010, at the Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
He was born Sept. 25, 1924, in Wilson County to Floyd Dale and Nora Susan Sheler Shultz. He was a high school graduate and worked as an oil driller.
Survivors include a sister, Susan Sjoquist, Mesa, Ariz., and a brother, Worley T. Shultz, Ashland. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
