Zula A. Dyer, 67, Toronto, died Wednesday, February 2, 2010, at the Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 4, 1943, in Chanute to Worline I. and Alice L. Beine Tipton. She attended Emporia State University and graduated in 1964.

On July 9, 1965, she married Ronald Wayne Dyer in Fredonia. He died on Nov. 17, 1998.

She worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a Postal Clerk in the Yates Center Post Office. In January 2008 she retired.

Survivors include a son, Brent Dyer, Toronto; two grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Tipton, Toronto.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center. Burial in Toronto Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Campbell Funeral Home.
