Mary Louise McGalliard Rountree, Tecumseh, Okla., formerly of Yates Center, died Friday, November 14, 2008, in Tecumseh.

She was born May 1, 1914, in Clarksville, Ark., to Robert and Roxie Cash McGalliard.

She married Ted. B. Rountree on Jan. 16, 1932. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Pisgah, Ark., Methodist Church. She worked at a glider factor in Wichita after World War II.

Survivors include a son, Franklin Rountree, Shawnee; a daughter, Amy Sue Stockebrand, Yates Center; six grandchildren; 15 great- and step-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by a grandson; and three siblings, Pat, Emry and Pearl Hooker.

Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fort Scott National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home, Yates Center.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
