Mary May Sharp McCann, 88, Sapulpa, died Saturday, November 15, 2008.

She was born April 3, 1920, in Chanute to Russell and Frances Sharp. She graduated from Chanute High School.

She married James McCann on July 19, 1941, in Chanute. He preceded her in death.

She worked in the food industry most of her adult life and retired in 1986.

She was a member of the First Church of God.

Survivors include two sons, Floyd McCann, Broken Arrow, and Carl McCann, Sand Springs; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Francis Lee Sharp; and her stepmother, Bertha Sharp.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at the First Church of God. Interment will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elmwood in Chanute. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Sapulpa, Okla.
