Sylvester F. Seiler, 74, Colwich, died Thursday, March 11, 2010.

He owned Syl’s Catering and Restaurant in Colwich.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, MaryJo Bugner Seiler; his children and their spouses, Joan and Bill Lane, Kevin and Cindy Seiler, Steve and Karen Seiler, Diane and Steve Patry, Jacqueline and Kevin Stuhlsatz, Mark Seiler, Mike and Denise Seiler, and JeanAnn and Shawn Ketzner; a son-in-law, Fred Heimerman; 28 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Leo and Sylvia, Don and Marilyn and Vince and Joan; and a sister-in-law, Aretha and Leroy Knoblauch.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Heimerman; a grandson, Jordan Heimerman; his parents, Edward and Josephine Seiler; and two brothers, Jerome and Gilbert Seiler.

Rosaries were 4 and 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church, St. Marks. Funeral Mass was 10:30 a.m. Monday, also at St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church. Arrangements were under the direction of Wulf-Ast Mortuary, Colwich.
